How It Works
Polli's optimization engine continuously monitors your staked assets and executes intelligent actions to maximize your returns. The system operates through a sophisticated analysis process that:
- Monitors validator performance - tracks uptime, commission rates, slashing events, and overall performance metrics across all supported chains.
- Calculates optimal compounding intervals - determines the most cost-effective timing for reward compounding based on your stake size, ensuring that transaction fees never exceed the rewards being claimed.
- Analyzes portfolio distribution - ensures proper diversification across validators with capacity-based balancing, so no single validator holds a disproportionate share of your stake.
- Executes smart redelegations - moves stake from underperforming validators to better-ranked alternatives selected by the platform's scoring engine.

Polli Scoring Engine
All retail optimization decisions are driven by Polli's proprietary validator scoring algorithm. Every validator is continuously assessed based on three weighted factors, producing a transparent ranking that determines validator recommendations, redelegation destinations, and portfolio balancing targets:
- APR (90% weight) - the annual percentage return a validator offers, calculated based on real on-chain rewards. Higher APR = higher rank.
- Uptime (5% weight) - the percentage of blocks the validator successfully signed, calculated based on a fixed time period. Reliable validators receive a boost.
- Voting Power (5% weight) - the validator's share of total network stake. Lower voting power is preferred to promote decentralization.
